In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.
The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
